Well....lots of questions...I chose this university because my uncle's friend told me about it and she said it's a pretty good college. Besides, there aren't too many options in terms of traditional universities so, I tried to choose the one that I reaaally liked.
I'm studying this specially because I love English, but I love to teach it. The translation thing is not my main interest, but to teach somebody else, kind of gives me "what I'm looking for" and that is to work at something I love.
I think that a really good professional (talking about the education area) should be able to talk with students, to let them know that u r interested in their learning.
A good professor should consider student's opinion and their role inside the classroom.
They are not machines that "decode" every single thing u r trying to explain.
Finally, I hope to be a great teacher and I also hope to have the basic tools to "sow" interest in my student so they remember me as a person that really matters what they are learning.

I remember that when I was a student in high school I realized that my teachers were not good enough, since the point of view that they used to do the class and that was all. A real teacher is someone who can offer more than a good class, I mean; if you realized that some of your students is having a bad moment in her/his learning you must have the availability to help her/him. Firstly, they spend more time in the school than in their own houses... you are responsible of their lives in this sense, they expect something better, someone who can listen, help, and especially support. Sometimes there are children who do not have a real image as a father or mother, and you could be an active part of their lives. If you think like this you could contribute to change this society, little bye little step by step... we must be conscious that we can change people's life... as it's been for me until now... Y have found a new family, a stronger hand that is giving me support all the time... that is what I want to do... enter in each heart even if I'm extremely exhausted, someone is having hopes in my person...I can do it what about you... I do not know why I want to know your opinion but we haven't talked since ages... have a nice day... success!
